Llŷn’s Best Beaches: Machroes Beach
A long sandy beach great for building sandcastles with the family or sitting and enjoying a book.
The beach shelves gently making it great for paddling and practicing your paddleboarding in the shallows.
This is another dog friendly beach.
Home to one of our favourite beachside cafes The Little Tea Rooms, this beach is perfect for grabbing something delicious and enjoying great food and stunning views simultaneously!
A small car park next to the beach makes it easy to park for the day and includes public toilets.
It’s one of our favourite spots to go paddleboarding from. You can skirt around the coastline and out to the old lifeboat house where we have been known to see dolphins and seals.
You can arrange to hire a paddleboard here for the day and we’ll deliver it straight to the beach inflated with everything you need to get on the water, or you can arrange a paddleboard session if you want some guidance.
It’s also a great place to explore by bicycle from. We offer regular 1.5hour guided e-bike tours from The Little Tea Rooms that you can easily book onto on our website, or you can hire for the day or arrange a bespoke tour…so many options!
We have childrens seats (up to 22kg) and buoyancy aids to add to your hire, and even a doggy bike basket (up to 8kg).
Remember with all our services we offer ultimate flexibility including free cancellation up to 48 hours before activity and if conditions aren’t suitable on the day we’ll rearrange or refund.
