Perfect pit stops: Caffi Siop Plas nr Porthor aka Whistling Sands

You’re probably aware by now that we’re big fans of a pre/mid/post activity treat so we thought we’d share one of our favourite pit stops with you each week to whet your appetite!

This week it’s Caffi Siop Plas one of our favourite pitstops for local, seasonal deliciousness. This little red cafe is nestled in the countryside between Aberdaron and Porthor (aka Whistling Sands), and my gosh is it worth venturing out for!

Caffi Siop Plas is a must visit for a cosy lunch, cake or coffee, rain or shine it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the ambiance and relax, but don’t just take our word for it…

Caffi Siop Plas is a great place to visit by e-bike surrounded by stunning, quiet country lanes looking out to the sea. They’re open Thursday - Saturday/Sunday in general but best to check their social media for that week’s opening times. They have a small but delicious specials menu each day that usually has a soup, salad, and toastie/sandwich options, and a great selection of cakes including gluten free and vegan options.

You can hire e-bikes from us for the day and we’ll help you plan your route factoring in some of our favourite pit stops, or we can lead you on a bespoke private tour so you can let us do the navigating and stop for pictures, food, shopping, whenever you want, we also run regular short guided tours nearby from Aberdaron that you can book onto…so many options!

We have childrens seats (up to 22kg) to add to your hire and even a doggy bike basket (up to 8kg).
